I know that the economy and jobs are on the top of everyone’s minds right now. Job growth is the life blood of any community and times have definitely gotten tougher than in the past. It is not an easy fix, but keeping jobs in Hall and Jackson counties will be a chief concern of mine as State Senator. As a successful businessman, I understand how to grow and create jobs. I understand how important jobs are to a person’s self esteem. I understand the economic impact job losses have on our counties. • Teresa and I attended the P.U.R.E. Celebration sponsored by Zachariah's Way. What a great night of fellowship. The mission of Zachariah's Way is to help churches become more aware of and how to better minister to special needs people and their families.
• Once again, Memorial Park Funeral Home did an outstanding job with their Public Servants BBQ. Over 6000 plates of BBQ served!!! Thank you to all the men and women who serve our community and country – and thank you to Jack Frost, Kevin Wetzel and all of the Memorial Park staff and volunteers for their hard work.
