I will work, in cooperation with county and city governments, as our advocate to help bring new jobs and businesses to Northeast Georgia.
As an owner and General Manager of Milton Martin Honda in Gainesville, I run a business and know what it takes to balance budgets and meet a payroll.
We need more people elected in government who have run businesses and know what it takes to create jobs. I’ll use my experience in business to make Georgia state government run more like a business: focused on customers first -- you and I, the taxpayers.
I oppose tax increases to fix Georgia's budget problems. I will work to control spending -- not just with short term fixes but with long term solutions, including implementing zero based budgeting.

• Sen. Miller Named Chair of
State and Local Governmental Operations Committee.
Sen. Miller will also serve on the Agriculture, Transportation, Natural Resources and Economic Development committees.
