Each new year brings us a brand new canvas on which to paint our masterpiece. With 2009 behind us, we can now look forward to creating 2010's destiny. Will you inspire others this year? Will you greet each day with enthusiasm and a big smile? Will you make a difference in your community? You have the power to influence the outcome of 2010 in many ways. Take the opportunity to paint a masterpiece this year.

Thanks to everyone for their vote during the July 20th Republican Primary!
• Teresa and I attended the P.U.R.E. Celebration sponsored by Zachariah's Way. What a great night of fellowship. The mission of Zachariah's Way is to help churches become more aware of and how to better minister to special needs people and their families.
• Once again, Memorial Park Funeral Home did an outstanding job with their Public Servants BBQ. Over 6000 plates of BBQ served!!! Thank you to all the men and women who serve our community and country – and thank you to Jack Frost, Kevin Wetzel and all of the Memorial Park staff and volunteers for their hard work.
